Nourane is currently the Project Assistant for GPG’s Iraq project. She is in charge of undertaking background research, providing translation, as well as preparing report briefings to support the progress of the project in Iraq. She supports Iraq Project Manager in coordinating activities, planning and organizing visits and events, and providing administrative assistance as required for project work. She also assists with the financial management of Iraq project. Providing assistance deemed necessary to other GPG projects is among her competence.
Nourane joined Global Partners Governance in January 2018 as Research Assistant for Project Egypt. She was responsible for providing research, background information, translation, and reports needed for the progress of the project in Egypt. She supported Egypt Project Manager in detecting opportunities and risks, Donors and Implementers mapping, as well as short-term planning. She also provided administrative assistance to Egypt’s Operations Manager, when necessary, in terms of events planning and other logistical arrangements.
In 2016, Nourane was an intern at the Egyptian Ministry of Planning where she worked with the Head of the International Relations Office on the different aspects of Egypt’s 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy.
Nourane holds a BSc in Political Science from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University.
Nourane is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
